Hearing Scheduled For Officers Charged In Freddie Gray Case
BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- New information in the case of the six officers charged in the death of Freddie Gray.
A scheduling hearing is now set for Sept. 29 at 2 p.m. in Baltimore City Circuit Court.
Originally the officers were set to go on trial together, which would have begun the week of October 12, but earlier this month a judge rules the officers would be tried separately. The trials could force a delay in the cases.
The judge also ruled earlier this month that all the trials would happen in Baltimore unless it's determined an unbiased jury cannot be found.
Gray died in police custody back in April. His death trigger several nights of unrest.
