Construction Begins Next Week On New Park And Ride Lot In Harford County

ABINGDON, Md. (WJZ) -- Work starts next Monday on a new park and ride lot aimed at easing traffic on Interstate 95.
The 265-space lot will be just off I-95 in Harford County at the intersection of Route 924 and Woodsdale Road. The Maryland Transportation Authority said it will also "enhance bus and transit connections for the community."
During the year-long construction, some nearby roads may be closed during peak hours.
The park and ride lot is expected to open in 2021.
