Handicapper John Conte Discusses This Weekend's Kentucky Derby
John Conte has been handicapping horse racing successfully for many years and has even won the DRF/NTRA National Championship and an Eclipse Aware for Handicapper of the Year. John joins Ed and Steve to discuss this weekends Kentucky Derby.
Steve asks with opportunity out who is the favorite? John says Wicked Strong moves in to the favorite position. It'll be tough because it's a long trip and the jock hasn't had any wins yet but the odds are in their favor.
Steve asks which horse is an enticing exotic bet? John says that California Chrome is a good exotic bet but he definitely won't come in first place. He is a good candidate to finish top 3 but he doesn't believe he can win the race.
