Greenbelt Police Warn Of Robberies Involving Dating Apps

GREENBELT, Md. (WJZ) -- Police in Greenbelt are investigating several armed robberies linked to a dating website.
Officials said there have been several armed robberies in which the victims agree to meet women through a dating site but are then assaulted and robbed when they get to their meeting place.
People should avoid meeting strangers using dating apps, police said.
