Gov. O'Malley Loses Bet On FCS Game To N.D. Governor

ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) -- Maryland's governor is going to be sending crab cakes to the governor of North Dakota.

The two governors had a friendly wager on the outcome of Saturday's NCAA Division I Football Championship Subdivision title game.

North Dakota State won that game over Maryland's Towson University.

Because North Dakota won, Maryland Gov. Martin O'Malley is sending North Dakota Gov. Jack Dalrymple a package of crab cakes from Baltimore-based Faidley's.

If Maryland had won, Dalrymple had wagered a case of North Dakota-made Dreamfields low-carb pasta.
