Gov. Hogan Headed To Baltimore For Inaugural Ball
BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- Another celebration took place following Governor Hogan's inauguration Wednesday night.
Mary Bubala reports the inaugural ball happened in Baltimore.
For just the second time in nearly 50 years, Maryland Republicans are celebrating having one of their own in charge again.
"Very welcome change. I'm excited to see what the upcoming years bring us. It's good change; I'm excited," said supporter Daryl Cox.
"I do believe he believes in Maryland and he will look out for the people of Maryland and that's why I'm here to support Larry," said supporter Jennifer Gray.

Just hours after being sworn in, Hogan took the stage at the Baltimore Convention Center to thank his supporters.
"We're going to get the government off our backs and out of our pockets so we can grow the private sector, put people back to work and turn our economy around," Hogan said.
Larry Hogan has promised evidence of a bipartisan administration Wednesday night.
Democrat Keiffer Mitchell is working for the new administration.
"I think we're moving to the point where we can pass an idea regardless of it's a Democrat idea or a Republican idea. If it's a good idea, let's get things done," he said.
Governor Hogan says he'll have another celebration on Saturday and it will be more low-key. He says there will be beer and jeans---no tux required.
