George Hincapie On His Role In Lance Armstrong's Doping And Cleaning Up Cycling
George Hincapie was a long time friend and fellow bicycler along with Lance Armstrong.
George joined Ken and Steve to talk about his new book The Loyal Lieutenant: Leading Out Lance And Pushing Through The Pain On The Rocky Road To Paris.
George started by talking about his new book and how it goes through all the doping that went on while he was competing in Tour De France's. George also talked about how much cycling has cleaned up since all the Lance Armstrong incidents have become public knowledge.
George also talked about how he had no idea about doping and use of PEDs while he was trying to become a professional cyclist. Once he became a professional cyclist he saw how much doping was going on and how everyone needed to use PEDs just to compete with everyone else who was cheating.
George also went through the processes of how bicyclers would use different substances to gain an advantage.
