Fuel spill temporarily prompts lane closures on I-695 outer loop in Catonsville

BALTIMORE -- A fuel spill closed three lanes on the outer loop of I-695 Friday morning in Catonsville, officials said. 

The spill was reported on I-695 at MD 44 around 7:19 a.m.

An hour later, the fuel spill was cleared and all lanes were reopened, the Maryland State Highway Administration said. 

The circumstances of the spill were not immediately clear. No injuries have been reported.
