'Fry Fridays' Are Back In Dundalk

DUNDALK, Md. (WJZ)--Some golden brown fried fish, steak fries and much more. It's on the menu and it's all for charity thanks to the Knights of Columbus.

Ron Matz has more on a most delicious time of the year in Dundalk.

Fry Fridays are back in Dundalk, time for the 10th annual Knights of Columbus Fish Fry--the menu bursting with flavor.

"Its a great meal, you get two pieces of Alaskan Pollock fish, seasoned steak fries, cole slaw, a roll and butter and a bun. It's all for $12 to eat in and $13 to carry out," said Joe Witomski, Dundalk Knights of Columbus.

It's a labor of love for the "We Team" because it's all for catholic charities and area churches.

"It helps the community, the kids and the disabled....all the things that the knights are involved with. It's just a good feeling to help," said Jerry Novak.

Connie's made us some of her special pineapple bread pudding.

"I'm glad we're able to serve the public and do what we can. All of our contributions make us proud and makes us feel that you've done something in your life," said Connie Witomski, The "We Team".

And sharing is what the "We Team" is all about.

"It's a great feeling to have the "We Team" work so hard to raise money for different charities. When we serve a meal a dollar comes off that meal and goes to our special charity fund. When we do this someone benefits from it and it makes us feel very important," said Witomski.

It's a great meal and a great deal, $12 to eat in and just $13 to carry out.

The fish fry at the Knights of Columbus in Dundalk is every Friday through Good Friday from noon til 6 p.m. On Good Friday, they're open until 7 p.m.
