Former NFL GM Phil Savage On The Upcoming NFL Draft
Phil Savage is the former GM of the Cleveland Browns and also spent a lot of time in the Baltimore Ravens front office.
Phil joined Ed & Steve to talk about the upcoming draft and which prospects he thinks will rise and which will fall. Phil also gave some insider perspective on the draft day process.
Phil started by talking about his work at the Senior Bowl with some of the upcoming draft prospects and how much fun it is to watch these guys become professional football players.
Phil also talked about how in the Ravens draft room former offensive coordinator Matt Cavanaugh had Tom Brady rated very high and wanted the Ravens to draft him. Unfortunately for the Ravens and the former regime Brady didn't grade out as highly as Chris Redman and the rest is history.
