Former NFL GM Phil Savage On The Ravens' Draft Picks
Phil Savage was a long time member of the Baltimore Ravens front office and was also a former GM for the Cleveland Browns.
Phil provides expert draft analysis because he works with a lot of seniors in the draft at the Senior Bowl in Mobile, Alabama.
Phil gave his insight on C.J. Mosley saying that Mosley is a great player who has the potential to be a Luke Kuechly type of player. Phil said Mosley can help stuff the run and also can provide help in pass coverage. Phil believes C.J. Mosley is a quiet leader who was a team captain and leads by example not a rah rah guy like Ray Lewis.
Phil believes Tim Jernigan is a very talented player who has problems with his conditioning. If Jernigan can get his conditioning in check he will be a rotational inside od the defensive line pass rush specialist. Phil also likes Terrence Brooks because he is fast, hits hard and pairs really well with Matt Elam.
