54-Year-Old Man Killed After Car Hits Utility Pole

LAKE SHORE, Md. (WJZ) -- A 54-year-old man was killed in a single-vehicle crash near Lake Shore in Anne Arundel County early Sunday morning.
A spokesperson for the county's fire department said first responders were called to Mountain Road and Lake Shore Drive around 1 a.m. for a report of a crash.
When they arrived, they found a car had struck a utility pole and the victim was trapped inside.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The victim's name has not been released.
