Dense fog prompts school delays in multiple Eastern Shore school districts
BALTIMORE -- Dense fog prompted several school district delays Wednesday morning on Maryland's Eastern Shore.
Talbot, Kent and Queen Anne's Counties announced 90-minute delays.
Caroline County has a two-hour delay.
First Alert Meteorologist Meg McNamara reports visibility is down to no more than half a mile in parts of the area.
Visibility is tough for parts of the Eastern Shore this morning because of dense fog! Kent & Queen Anne's County Schools are on a 90 minute delay because they're so socked in. Please be extra careful as you commute in those spots! #WJZ #FirstAlert #MDWX #Baltimore pic.twitter.com/JWaz91Hfmb
