Duke's Motel Police-Involved Shooting Victim Identified As Kareem Morgan
BALTIMORE COUNTY, Md. (WJZ) -- Police have identified the suspect killed in a police-involved shooting at a Baltimore County motel over the weekend as 43-year-old Kareem Omar Morgan.
Morgan was killed after reportedly opening fire on a tactical team attempting to serve an arrest warrant on him at Duke's Motel in Rosedale Saturday night.
Police had been trying to locate him in connection with a domestic shooting earlier Saturday in Windsor Mill.

WJZ talked to several of Morgan's neighbors, and while some had heard about Saturday's police-involved shooting but none knew Morgan personally.
"We were able to confirm that that person was the suspect that we were looking for in the Windsor Mill shooting earlier that morning," said Baltimore County Police spokesperson Jennifer Peach.
Police said Morgan forced his way into his ex-girlfriend's home on Winding Brook Way in Windsor Mill. They got into a physical fight and he shot her in her lower body. She is expected to be okay, they said.
"If you know your neighbor is going through things or situations like that, just talk to your neighbors. Be a neighborly person," said Erik Esteep, Fairbrook Neighborhood Association.
Throughout the day Saturday, police were looking for Morgan's car, which was eventually spotted outside of Duke's Motel.
Officers obtained a search and seizure warrant and an arrest warrant. When a tactical team tried to serve those warrants, Morgan started shooting from his motel room. Officers fired back, and Morgan was shot and killed.
Court records show Morgan had previously pleaded not guilty to first-degree murder, drug charges and most recently second-degree assault.
Police said anyone involved in this case is on routine leave until an investigation is complete.
