Vaping Devices To Be Accepted On National Drug Take Back Day

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- Saturday is National Prescription Drug Take Back Day.

For the first time, the DEA will accept vaping devices and cartridges at any drop-off location.

Anyone can anonymously get rid of opioids and other medications at your home.

The addition of vapes to Drug Take Back Day comes after a recent spike of concerns over severe lung illnesses and deaths.

There are now 38 reported cases of illnesses linked to vaping here in Maryland.
