Don Markus Joins Sports Rehab To Talk Maryland Basketball
Don Markus of the Baltimore Sun joined Terry Ford to talk Maryland Terrapin basketball as they head into Wednesday night's conference game against Rutgers.
Maryland moved to #3 in this week's AP poll after wins over Penn State and Northwestern. Terps freshman big man Diamond Stone was named Big Ten Freshman and Player of the Week after his record setting 39 point 12 rebound performance against Penn State. It's been widely speculated that Stone may leave College Park after one year and go on to the NBA. Stone's defense has been a bit of a concern for fans and coaches. When asked how Stone is progressing on the defensive end of the floor, Markus said "I think it's an intensity thing for Diamond more than anything."
