3 Killed In Quadruple Shooting Near UMB Campus
BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- A deadly shooting is under investigation near the University of Maryland Baltimore campus.
WJZ's Mike Schuh reports live from the scene.
Police have been on the scnee all night, since the shooting was reported just after 10:30 p.m. in the 900 block of West Fayette Street.
There are few details this morning but we do know that four people - two men and two women were shot.
UMB Police say two light-colored vans pulled to the side of the road near Fayette and Poppleton streets. One person emerged from each van and began firing into a group at the corner.
One female and two males were found suffering from gunshot wounds. One of the men and the woman were transported to an area hospital where they died. The second male was pronounced deceased at the scene.
A fourth victim walked into an area hospital seeking treatment for a gunshot wound to the buttock, she's listed in stable condition.
There is still no word about the identity of the shooters and police have not given any details about a possible motive for the attach.
