D.C. Police Investigating Fatal Shooting In NE
WASHINGTON (AP) -- Police in Washington say they're investigating a fatal shooting in northeast Washington.
Police say officers were called to the 600-block of Morris Place on Friday around 3:35 p.m. for a report of gunshots. When officers arrived they found 29-year-old Andre Pierce Joyner of Fort Washington, Md., suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
Police say Joyner was taken to the hospital but died of his injuries.
