David Letterman Interviews Paul McCartney And Ringo Starr For CBS Beatles Tribute

As if the idea of seeing Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr performing together wasn't enough!  CBS has just announced that The Night That Changed America: A GRAMMY Salute To The Beatles will feature an interview with McCartney and Starr conducted by the current resident of the Ed Sullivan Theater, David Letterman.

Letterman interviewed the two at the Ed Sullivan Theater yesterday (February 4), without a studio audience. Of course, that theater was the site of the actual "night that changed America" in 1964: the Beatles' first appearance on The Ed Sullivan Show.

It's that earth-shaking event that is being celebrated on the The Night That Changed America; the show, which was filmed the night after the GRAMMYs, featured performances by McCartney and Starr, both together and apart, and a number of other A-list artists including Stevie Wonder, Alicia Keys, Dave Grohl, Katy Perry and the reunited Eurythmics.

The Night That Changed America: A GRAMMY Salute To The Beatles will air on Sunday, February 9 at 8 pm ET (50 years to the day and time that the Beatles made their debut).
