D.C. Spray Parks To Stay Open An Additional Week

WASHINGTON (AP) -- Spray parks in the District of Columbia will stay open an additional week because of expected high temperatures.

Officials announced Monday that the city's two dozen spay parks, which were set to close Monday at 7 p.m., will stay open until Sept. 13 at 7 p.m.

The National Weather Service says high temperatures and high humidity are expected Tuesday through Friday.
