Man Killed In I-83 Crash Early Thursday
BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- A fatal two-vehicle crash closed part of the I-83N Thursday morning. All lanes have since reopened.
Maryland State Troopers responded to the crash on the Jones Falls Expressway around 5:15 a.m. near Ruxton Road.
An early investigation revealed that the driver of one SUV struck the rear of another SUV in the far left lane of the JFX. causing both vehicles to run off the road.
A man in one of the SUVs was pronounced dead at the scene.
Northbound lanes were closed for several hours for the crash investigation.
The Maryland State Police Crash Team has responded to conduct the investigation.
An investigation is underway.
