Could Cubs Be Eliminated On Back To The Future Day?

In 1989 (when Back To The Future Part II premiered), Doc Brown and Marty McFly traveled to the future, Wednesday, October 21, 2015, and much has been made of the prediction that the Chicago Cubs would win the World Series as a 100 to 1 long shot. Now the Cubs are actually in the National League Championship Series taking on the New York Mets--not the Miami Gators-another bold prediction from the film that Miami would have it's own baseball team, which it didn't in 1989.

The Cubs are 4 games away from advancing to the World Series, but instead of winning the whole thing, they're facing elimination on the exact day that Doc Brown set the Delorean time machine to travel to. Something is awry in the space-time continuum. Check your old photographs for disappearing family members. Great Scott!
