Corey Chavous On The Terps Season Opener And Their Next Game Against South Florida
Corey Chavous is a former NFL safety who now covers college football for the CBS Sports Network, he'll be calling the Terps vs South Florida game this weekend.
Corey joined Ed and Steve to talk about what he expects from the major college football programs this season.
Corey started by talking about the Terps 52-7 win over James Madison saying "anytime you start a reason with a win it's a good thing...the running game was a big positive this week." When asked about the Terps and how they'll fare in the Big Ten Corey said "I like Maryland I believe they are a team that has a chance because of their team speed." Corey aslo talked about the South Carolina defense and how they looked against Texas A&M "you didn't have a lot of returning players...sometimes it takes time to get that cohesion."
