Man arrested in the deadly shooting of 12-year-old girl in Southeast Baltimore
BALTIMORE -- A 28-year-old man was arrested in the deadly shooting of a 12-year-old girl inside a home in Southeast Baltimore.
Omar Passmore was arrested Sunday morning in Baltimore County. He is facing first-degree murder charges.
Police said 12-year-old Breaunna Cormley died after she was shot around 8 p.m. on Friday in a home in the 500 block of North Kenwood Avenue.
"This young lady had a whole life ahead of her, but a coward took her life, simply because they are a coward and a scum of the Earth," Baltimore Mayor Brandon Scott said. "Targeted or not, it's a kid. That's all that matters. You're talking about a 12-year-old girl."
