Carroll County House Fire Kills 1 Person, Injures Firefighter
MOUNT AIRY, Md. (WJZ) -- The cause of a fatal house fire in Carroll County is under investigation.
It happened in the 2800-block of Flag Marsh Road in Mount Airy.
Fire crews found one person trapped inside the home upon their arrival.
He or she was pronounced dead at the scene.
A second person living in the house was able to escape unharmed.
A firefighter suffered minor injuries in the blaze.
The cause of the fire is still unknown.
