Buck Showalter On Wei Yin Chen Being Sent To Frederick
Buck Showalter is the current Manager of the defending AL East Champion Baltimore Orioles.
Buck joined Bob and Steve to talk about today's Orioles game in Philadelphia.
Buck started off by talking about the scandal with the Cardinals hacking the Astros saying "let all the facts get out, it's an ever changing world."
On the topic of Wei Yin Chen being sent to Frederick Buck said "he's a healthy pitcher and he will present himself as a healthy free agent if we don't sign him...the people who represent him know that guys who come from Japan pitch on 6 or 7 days rest, it's going to work out great for him long term."
As for other reasons the move was made concerning Orioles roster moves Buck said "I couldn't live with myself if I didn't protect the health of our club, and keep a guy like Parmalee on our roster."
