Brittany Ghiroli Gives An Inside Look On The Orioles Late Offseason Signings
Orioles beat reporter for MLB.com and an insider for MLB Network, Brittany Ghiroli joined Ken and Steve on the Norris and Davis show to discuss the Orioles' late off-season acquisitions.
Steve asked Brittany about the Nelson Cruz signing. Brittany thinks the signing is great because the O's haven't had a real DH in years and its a low risk high reward signing.
Ken asks Brittany what has changed lately with the O's signings and why they have been spending money. Brittany says that the late signings are a product of the system. The veteran older players are available this late in the season because of the draft pick compensations that teams have to give up to sign them.
