Brief relief before hot, sticky & stormy weekend for Maryland

BALTIMORE -- Sunny and bright start to our afternoon with a few clouds lingering overhead. Much more comfortable this afternoon as we see lower dewpoints across the state.

Dry for the remainder of the day.

High temperatures take a hit thanks to cooler winds and a frontal system pushing through. Highs range in the middle 80s under gradually clearing skies.

Friday and the weekend spell more rain with showers entering back into the forecast.

Highs for Friday are back in the 80s with the true impact of the front. Below average temperatures are expected under mostly clear skies. Spotty showers do return to the forecast for the evening hours, but a lot of the action is reserved for the weekend.

Both Saturday and Sunday bring shower and storm chances back into the forecast with highs back on the rise.
