Bob Haynie: Let's Do Some Football Picks
We are already a month or so into football season and I have yet to bust out my weekly picks. The picks have been happening for years with varying degrees of success. I do three college and three pro games and then hope for the best. I do not bet money because this exercise is for entertainment purposes only.
From this week on, I will keep a running tally and, hopefully, finish on the positive side of .500.
Spreads are from CBSsports.com. The team I have covering will be listed first.
College:
Maryland (+4) @ Indiana
Minnesota (+13) @ Michigan
Cincinnati (+17) @ Ohio State
NFL:
Ravens (-3.5) vs. Panthers
Steelers (-7.5) vs. Bucs
Bears (+2) vs. Packers
By the way, if you are in a survivor bracket, take the Steelers.
