Bicyclist Killed In Hit-And-Run Crash In Maryland
LANHAM, Md. (AP) -- Prince George's County Police say a bicyclist was struck and killed in a hit-and-run crash in Lanham.
It happened about 2 a.m. Sunday on Martin Luther King Jr. Highway near Forbes Boulevard. Police arrived to find the injured bicyclist in the road. He died later at a hospital.
Officers says a car and the bicyclist were traveling west, with the bicyclist traveling along the curb. Police say the bicyclist was hit by the car, and the car's driver left the scene.
Authorities are looking for a back sedan which has front end damage, a broken head lamp and a piece of its bumper missing.
