This delightful 16-acre park is nestled in Baltimore City south of Johns Hopkins University on Charles Street. Dogs and dog owners will adore this little slice of greenery in the middle of the city.

Dog lovers flock to this park, located just north of the city line off of Falls Road. Robert E. Lee Park has a one-acre fenced area where dogs can roam off leash, but there is much more to this more than 400-acre park. There are lots of great paths to explore with your dog from dawn to dusk. The Jones Falls runs along the park, which was voted Baltimore Magazine's Best Neighborhood Park in 2013. There is an annual fee to use the off-leash dog park.

Patterson Park has long been a Mecca for dog owners. The gorgeous pagoda is the icon of this city landmark. The green scenery brings nature to the denizens who are surrounded by urban life. Containing 200+ acres with more than three miles of trails, you can walk for a good long time. Dogs must remain on a leash the whole time they visit.

Trendy Canton cannot be without its own dog park. Canton Dog Park is another great place for city dwellers, containing a safe area for dogs to bounce around with their canine friends. This doggie haven, with separate areas for bigger and smaller dogs, is located right in the heart of the Canton neighborhood. There is an annual fee of $20 per dog. All dogs must have a Baltimore City license and rabies tag.
