Baysox To Show Off Maryland Pride At Sunday's Game

BALTIMORE, Md. (WJZ) -- No one will look prouder (or louder) than the Bowie Baysox when the team takes the field at Prince George's Stadium on Sunday for its "Maryland Pride Day" event.

The Orioles' Class AA farm team will be sporting jerseys modeled after the Maryland Flag, which will be sold after the game against Altoona as part of a game-worn jersey auction.

But don't worry if your threads aren't nearly as festive: the organization is giving away Baysox Maryland Flag T-shirts to the first 500 fans, ages 13 and older, who arrive for the 2:05 p.m. game.

If freebies aren't your thing, though, you can always show up for a meet-and-greet and autograph session with players and coaches between 12:30 and 1 p.m. before the game. You'll also have the chance to shag some balls in the outfield if you bring your gloves and baseballs.

Plus, for those looking for a different kind of pregame: you can show up for the team's Bud Light 1K Beer Run, in which you can take three laps around the warning track and get a beer after finishing each lap. But you must be 21 years of age and have a valid ID. Just click here to register.
