Bay Bridge Moves To Cashless E-ZPass Tolling Next Week

ANNAPOLIS, Md. (WJZ) -- Starting next week, it will be all cashless E-ZPass tolling on the Bay Bridge.

The system is being launched on May 12 ahead of the original summer deadline.

Those with E-ZPass will pay as little as $1.40 to cross the bridge, while those without a pass who use video tolling will pay $6 beginning 30 days after the state's coronavirus-related state of emergency is lifted. Prior to that, the video tolling rate will be $4.

The MDTA said customers can sign up and get an E-ZPass through the mail.
