Barbara Mikulski Nominates Clinton for President At DNC

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- Retiring U.S. Senator Barbara Mikulski, who has represented Maryland on Capitol Hill since 1976, offered Hillary Clinton's name for nomination at the Democratic National Convention on Tuesday night.

Mikulski, who announced last year that she would not seek re-election, is the longest-serving female senator in history.

She grew up in the Highlandtown neighborhood of East Baltimore and was a social worker before she got into politics.
