5 Men Injured, 1 Killed In Sunday Shootings Across Baltimore

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- Police are investigating six shootings Sunday across Baltimore, one that left one person dead.

Officers were called to an area hospital at around 4:40 a.m. to investigate a walk-in shooting victim. The 20-year-old man suffered from a gunshot wound to the body.

At around 5:33 a.m., officers were called to the 5900 block of Benton Heights Avenue where they found a 34-year-old man suffering from gunshot wounds to his arm.

The victim was taken to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

At around 5:40 a.m., officers were called to another area hospital for a walk-in shooting victim in West Baltimore.

Officers found a 29-year-old man being treated by medical personnel and suffering from gunshot wounds.

The victim told officers he was at the intersection of Baker and Moreland Street when he was shot.

Later Sunday, an Eastern District officer was on patrol at around 11:50 a.m. when he saw a 26-year-old man had been shot to the upper body. The victim was taken to an area hospital.

Detectives believe the shooting happened in the 2400 block of Barclay Street.

Officers were called to the 6600 block of Holabird Avenue to investigate a shooting in southeast Baltimore at around 7:20 p.m.

Police responded and found a 20-year-old man suffering from gunshot wounds. He was taken to an area hospital.
