Baltimore Police Thanks Community For Help In Nabbing Gun Thief

BALTIMORE (WJZ) – Baltimore Police found and arrested a man possessing a stolen handgun after receiving a detailed description and location of the suspect from a tip.

Police dispatchers received a call for an armed person in the 1000 block of North Bond Street on Friday.

When officers arrived on the scene, they arrested 31-year-old Herbert H. Adams for the illegal possession of a 9 mm semi-automatic handgun, which was reportedly stolen from an owner in Richmond, Va.

The Baltimore Police expressed their gratitude for the public's involvement, and they are encouraging more citizens to help them keep the streets free of crime.
