Baltimore Police Investigating Overnight Shootings
BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- Baltimore Police are investigating two overnight shootings.
According to police, one occurred on the 5200-block of Hillwell Road. A 25-year-old man arrived at a local hospital with a gunshot wound in the stomach. He told police he was sitting in a car on Hillwell Road when two suspects approached and tried to rob him. During the course of that robbery, the victim was shot and the suspects fled.
The second shooting happened outside Club YOLO. An officer was on patrol and observed a fight. While he was breaking up that fight, he heard gunshots coming from the parking lot. A 30-year-old man had been shot in the shoulder. He was taken to a local hospital.
