Baltimore Police Arrest Teen With Illegal Handgun

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- Baltimore police have arrested an 18-year-old who was illegally in possession of a handgun.

According to police, officers were patrolling the 4400 block of Park Heights Avenue when they saw someone they believed was illegally armed.

The suspect ran and when officers caught him in the 4300 block of Reisterstown Road, they found that he was armed with a loaded 9mm semi-automatic handgun.

The suspect, Timothy Toland, was found to be prohibited from owning or possessing a gun. Toland was arrested and is now at Central Booking.
