MLB Mascots Now Allowed In Ballparks; Oriole Bird Heads Back To Work
BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- Baltimore's new Hall of Famer, the Oriole Bird, has had some time to celebrate his induction with the baseball season on hold; but now, its time for him to get back to work!
Major League Baseball recently reversed a policy so that mascots can head back to the ball park. However, they can't go onto the field.
Mascots argued they can do plenty to pump up the fans at home.
The Orioles will throw the first pitch on either July 23 or 24.
