Baltimore Man Shawn Purvis Charged With First Degree Murder In Shooting Death

BALTIMORE, Md. (WJZ) -- Baltimore Police said 50-year-old Shawn Purvis, of Baltimore, has been charged with first-degree murder in the Thursday shooting death of a 47-year-old man in East Baltimore.
Investigators believe Purvis shot the man after a dispute early Thursday morning.
Officers responded at 4:25 a.m. to the 1900 block of East 20th Street for the shooting. When they got there they found an unresponsive man. He was pronounced dead on the scene.
