Baltimore Man Arrested In Glen Burnie Burglary

GLEN BURNIE, Md. (WJZ) --Anne Arundel County Police arrested a man Monday afternoon after reports of a burglary.

Officers from the Northern District responded to the 400 block of Delmar Avenue in Glen Burnie after the suspect fled the scene.

The 24-year-old male victim at the residence told police that the suspect knocked on the back door of the residence earlier in the day and asked the victim if he was planning to leave his home. The victim acknowledged that he would be leaving. Later the same day, the victim heard someone knock on the back door again and then saw the suspect holding a window open trying to climb into a bedroom window. The suspect fled the home and entered a residence next door.

When police arrived, they located the suspect at the second residence. He was arrested and transported to Northern District where he was charged with first-degree burglary, third-degree burglary and fourth-degree burglary.

The suspect has been identified as Michael Dennis Garrett, of Baltimore.
