Baltimore EMT Marcus Paxton, Anne Arundel County Woman Killed In Prince George's County Crash

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- Two people, including a Baltimore EMT, were killed in an early morning car crash in Prince George's County, the city's fire department said Friday.

The crash happened around 1:20 a.m. in the 14500 block of Brandywine Road. The Prince George's County Police Department said it appeared the EMT, Marcus Paxton, was driving north on Brandywine Road when he crossed the center line and hit a vehicle being driven by 52-year-old Tammy Linkous of Harwood.

Both died at the scene, officials said. A passenger in Linkous' vehicle was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Paxton joined the fire department in 2018.
