BALTIMORE - A 38-year-old man died in an apartment fire early Wednesday in Baltimore County, according to fire officials.

Firefighters responded around 4:19 a.m. to the 4400 block of Alan Drive in Arbutus. Urian Bridges was found dead in the hallway, officials said.

Officials said the fire was accidentally caused by unattended cooking.

A wind-fuel blaze took more than 100 firefighters to contain at Baltimore's Camp Small on Dec. 5. A day later, six vacant homes caught fire in Baltimore's Hampden neighborhood.

On Nov. 29, a woman and two dogs died in a trailer fire in Elkton.

And, on Nov. 25, a woman died and several people were displaced after a large fire spread through multiple rowhomes in Baltimore's Greektown neighborhood.
