Car Wrecks During Police Chase In Baltimore County

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- A car crashed in the Essex area while being pursued by Baltimore County police Wednesday morning.
Police say the chase ended near Stemmers Run Rd. and Norris Ln., and officers are continuing to search for the driver, who fled on foot after crashing.
A police helicopter is also above the scene to assist with the search.
No details have been released on why police were pursuing the vehicle.
