Baltimore-based punk rock band Turnstile to throw out first pitch at Orioles game next week

BALTIMORE - Grammy-nominated hardcore band Turnstile will throw out the ceremonial first pitch at Tuesday's Baltimore Orioles game at Oriole Park.

Turnstile, a Baltimore-based band, earned Grammy nominations this year for best rock performance (Holiday), best rock song (Blackout) and best metal performance (Blackout).

It isn't the first time the O's showed pride in the local music scene. Alternative rock band All Time Low, which formed in Towson, threw out the first pitch earlier this year. 

The Orioles play host to the Houston Astros at 7:05 p.m. Tuesday.
