Police Arrest Suspect Who Hit Man With Vehicle, Then Stabbed Him To Death

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- The Baltimore County Police Department identified a man who was allegedly hit by a car and then stabbed to death Saturday afternoon.

Police say 53-year-old Raphael M. Happy-Ikenwilo was hit and stabbed in the 7800 block of Liberty Road.

Happy-Ikenwilo was a spiritual leader who came to the U.S. in 2012.

Investigators learned the suspect dropped off his wife in a parking lot and saw Happy-Ikenwilo getting out of his car and then rammed him into his car with his vehicle and then stabbed him several times.

The victim was taken to a hospital where he died.

The victim's wife was not injured in the attack.

The suspect drove from the area and turned himself into authorities at the Howard County Detention Center.

Charges against the suspect are pending.
