A virtual exhibit will be created for fair participants that would like to show off their projects, according to fair officials. In addition, the fair announced that the board approved a livestock invitational for regular fair exhibitors as several one-time shows which will follow state guidelines for livestock shows in Maryland.
There will also still be a youth livestock auction on Sept. 19 open to bidders, the fair said. Details will be worked out by the auction committee since the board of directors has made its final decision. The shows are private, one-day events not open to the public, keeping with the guidelines.
