Father and son killed in apparent murder-suicide in Anne Arundel County, police say

BALTIMORE - Police are investigating a murder-suicide involving a father and a son in Anne Arundel County.

Officers responded around 9:50 a.m. Wednesday to a home on Retreat Court in Odenton where 34-year-old Steven Nabakowski was found dead from an apparent gunshot wound. 

A few miles away, police said the father, identified as Jack Nabakowski, was found dead by a self-inflicted gunshot wound at Fort Meade.

Investigators revealed the father was responsible for the murder of his son.
