Andrew Brandt Believes The Ray Rice Situation Is Too Obvious To Be An NFL Cover Up
Andrew Brandt is NFL Business analyst for ESPN and also writes for National Football Post and Sports Illustrated.
Andrew joined Ed and Steve to talk about the Ray Rice situation and how it should've been handled differently.
Andrew started by talking about how curious it was that the NFL and Ravens claim they didn't see the video but handed out a suspension of two games prior to the video being released. "This is too obvious, if Joe on the street can see the cover up then the NFL is too smart to have actually covered up" is what Andrew said about speculations of the NFL trying to cover up wrong doings. Ed asked about why Roger Goodell questioned Janay Rice about the incident in front of Ray Rice and Andrew said "there is law and then there is NFL law and they're different...there is no double jeopardy in the NFL, there's no 5th amendment for players to invoke." Andrew also talked about how the Ravens should have withheld their undying support for Ray until the video was seen.
