Woman Struck By Amtrak Train In Baltimore

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- All Amtrak tracks north of Baltimore were briefly shut down Monday morning after what they called a "trespasser incident."

Baltimore City Fire officials said they treated and transported a woman who was struck by the train around 8:35 a.m.

Officials said she was attempting to cross the tracks near the West Baltimore station in the 2400 block of Franklin Street when she was struck.

The tracks reopened around 9:11 a.m. However, some trains were delayed due to the incident.

There is no word on the woman's condition.
